  ARCHIVED STORY - GLOSSOP CHRONICLE
WORLD BOOK DAY ROUND-UP
THE PAGE took centre stage as literature lovers chatted chapter and verse to celebrate World Book Day.

The whole borough got booked in for fun as the written world was brought to life for the annual extravaganza.

Little learners donned colourful costumes in tribute to beloved book characters, but it wasn’t just youngsters who had a novel way to mark the day.

Library users, sixth form students and even pub regulars served up a healthy passion for prose.

Don't miss our complete World Book Day picture round up in this Thursday's Glossop Chronicle (March 10).
